Well I enjoyed myself the past couple years and I plan on attending this coming March as well. Anyone else on Ai Zutto plan on going?
I cosplayed Mugen (Samurai Champloo) at Megacon & Jacon 09, so keeping with the samurai theme, I plan to cosplay Mifune (Soul Eater) at this convention.
Halloween weekend this year is being taken over by Bakuretsu Con.
We're a con in Colchester Vermont right off the highway. A fairly small con (this year we had about 618 attendees)

Anime Weekend Atlanta(AWA) is a three-day Japanese Animation and comics convention held annually in Atlanta, Georgia.
AWA 15 will be held September 18-20, 2009, at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since our first convention in 1995, AWA has become one of the most popular Japanese Animation conventions in the United States.
AWA has a wide variety of events including video room showings of Japanese cartoons from new releases and titles going back to the 1960's, a dealer's room with retailers who sell Japanese animation and manga related merchandise such as toys, videos, audio CD's and artwork, workshops, panel discussions on various topics including the current trends in Japan and how they will affect the United States, a costume contest where attendees dress up as their favorite manga or anime character, and scores of guests who have worked or currently are working in the industry.

theres a couple concerts i wanna hit up for this summer, lemme know if your interested:
Skindred in ft. lauderdale at revolution june 26th(or orlando on the 25 at house o blues)
and
The Offspring w/ Sum41 in orlando, pompano, or st. augustine (june 16-18)
Other than that the main reason for this event is to get the word out about any shows that you migth be going to over the summer so the word can get passed around, more the merrier :)

MegaCon 2009 will be held in Hall D at the Orange County Convention Center. This hall is located in the west building which is across the street from were we were last year. We will be in this hall and building for the next two years.

*Friday - 1-7pm
Saturday - 10am-6pm
Sunday - 10am-5pm
(Many events will take place in breakout rooms, after showroom hours.)
*Pre-Advance ticket holders will be allowed into the showroom hall at 12 Noon on Friday February 27th.
You may purchase tickets in advance by the following methods.
1. Online by clicking order tickets on the left side of this screen (http://www.megaconvention.com/)
2. You may mail your request to the following address: MegaCon P.O. Box 1097 Safety Harbor, Fl. 34695. (Please include which days you would like to attend and the quantity of tickets you are requesting (ie: 1 -Saturday and 2 -three day tickets.)
3. By telephone at 727-796-5725 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm eastern standard time.
Advance ticket prices:
One Day Ticket - $22.37
Three Day Ticket - $52.19
(These prices include 6.5% sales tax)
One child ten and under free with one paying adult
**Please note tickets purchased in advance will not be mailed.
All tickets purchased in advance will be held at the Advance Ticket Booth window in front of Hall D. You will be required to provide a photo ID to pick them up.
Admission at the door:

Three Day Ticket - $55.00
